Born in Taiwan and raised across Brazil, Belgium, Macau, and China before settling in Miami at 16, Dr. Maryam Rezaie, known to her patients as "Dr. R," brings a global perspective to everything she does. She graduated with honors from Florida International University and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2009, where she joined mission trips to the Dominican Republic and co-founded the American Association of Public Health Dentistry's second student chapter. After completing a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Riviera Beach, where she was recognized for her dedication to US veterans, she went on to Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics, graduating with honors and serving as Student Vice President and Chief Resident.

Following time at respected practices in Kansas City and Pensacola, Dr. R founded Vibrant Orthodontics in Tallahassee, where she is truly the heart and soul of the practice. She currently serves as president of the Leon County Dental Association after three years on its board. Known for her warm personality and fun, engaging approach, Dr. R makes every visit personalized and enjoyable. Outside the office, she stays connected with the community through social media, service, and local events, and she and her team are dedicated to making every orthodontic journey both effective and enjoyable.
